Australian Artists honoured in Germany

In a park in Northern Germany two hours from Berlin, two Australian expats with a love of art have set up the Wesenberg Sculpture Park. This is the realisation of a dream by Peter Thompson and David Ng. They have converted a former dormitory into the White Lake Gallery, which is committed to the cultural exchange of fine arts between Australian and German artists. The first exhibition features 23 large sculptures in the outdoor park and 60 smaller ones in the Gallery. Amongst the artists involved are the centenarian Erwin Fabian, Jock Clutterbuck, Michael Cartwright and Shona Nunan. There is an especially dedicated part of the gallery for the late Inge King.
