Evan Lowenstein

Evan Lowenstein graduated from Monash University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Accounting and was awarded CPA status in 1988.

In 2002 he commenced Lowensteins Arts Management together with this father Tom and colleague in Sydney, Adam Micmacher.

This firm took the commitment to the arts even further with a concerted effort to focus on arts as a speciality and to assist in other financial services for artists.

The firm now manages the financial affairs of approximately 3000 artists in all creative fields.

Evan has had a long association with Boards of Management for many arts organisations throughout his career. – Gertrude Street Artist Spaces and  Centre for Contemporary Photography, back in the 1990’s.

He has also been on the Board of The Resale Royalties Art Market Professionals Advisory Panel, Treasurer of Westspace Artists Spaces in Melbourne, as well as Theatreworks, Q44 Inc., Embraced Inc.and  Southern Disability Advocacy Inc. Now more recently he has been involved in The Festival of Jewish Arts and Music, and Sunshine Print Artspace in Melbourne.

Currently he is on the Board of the Inner West Creative Network and  Studio A both in Sydney and Genesis Baroque Inc, in Melbourne.
