Practice Alert- Tax Refunds

From the start of the new financial year, we have decided not to issue refund cheques to our clients. Instead we will be asking all clients for banking details as we will be making EFT payments direct into your account.

We have found that in the past there have been quite a few refunds which have not been banked by our clients so we had to remit those funds to the relevant State Revenue Offices under the Unclaimed Moneys Act.

This new approach will also lead to more timely refunds and it is consistent with our approach of improving our level of client service to you.
