Arts Focused Assistance Packages

Arts Funding Announcements

As we find ourselves amidst the most recent Covid-19 related lockdowns and much news around about regular businesses receiving grants to help them through this difficult time, I thought it fitting to focus on the arts related grants available as many performers and others in the arts are dealing with the cancellation of shows and events and are not sure what is on offer in the form of assistance.
All major States have announced Grants to help their creatives through this difficult time, of course the Income Support provided through the Federal Government and the State Government business grants that we announced last week may assist but there are specifically targeted arts funding available.
We should make mention of the Federal Government support program – MusicKeeper and Crewkeeper relief available to those Music workers who have been affected by these cancellations.
These scheme provides some support in providing grants of around $2,000 to individuals and families.
