Accounting for change

Our recent office move to South Melbourne has given us the opportunity to initiate changes to our operations which will result in an improvement to the services that we offer our clients.
Tom Lowenstein OAM will continue his commitment to new and existing clients. Tom will act as a consultant to the firm and will be continuing to lobby ministers, politicians and the Australian Taxation Office for the fairer representation of artists’ interests. He will be scaling down his day-to-day involvement in the administrative affairs of the company.
Our joint managing partners, Evan Lowenstein and Adam Micmacher, will assume control of the company’s day-to-day administrative affairs.
With over 3600 artists on our books, Evan Lowenstein will continue overseeing all areas of administration and development of the Melbourne office. Especially close to his heart is the company’s pro-active commitment to supporting and fostering young and emerging artistic talent. He will also be more involved in the philanthropic area, including by advising foundations and not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. Generally, he will oversee compliance work for our clients from the creative industries’ sector.
Adam Micmacher will continue supervising all areas of administration, human resources and development within the Sydney office.
Together with his ongoing commitment to the arts sector, Adam will also focus upon developing the company’s specialist superannuation division and dealing with high-wealth individuals and compliance services.
With the assistance of Adam Micmacher will continue supervising all areas of administration, human resources and development within the Sydney office.Michael Zillig, Partner and Senior Accountant, who is based in our Sydney office, he is also working towards expanding the company’s tax advisory services to our larger commercial client base.
