Tamara Winikoff leaves NAVA after 22 years

The Directors and staff at Lowensteins wish Tamara a very fond farewell and say thanks for serving in her role as Director of the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) with great distinction and absolute commitment. We acknowledge her role as a major advocate for the visual arts which has been immense and well recognised. This service culminated in 2014 with her being awarded an OAM for services to the visual arts. Our firm has worked closely with Tamara and the staff at NAVA in providing specialist advice on taxation implications of various government measures, including non-commercial losses and the tax ruling on artists carrying on businesses. As well, both Evan and Adam have served time on the executive and have contributed to their newsletter. We wish Tamara all the best for the future and much success for whatever projects she embarks upon.
